The Star Chamber of Commerce is kicking off a new annual tradition this year. They will be offering Christmas bulbs depicting something historic or significant in the City of Star. This year, the bulb features a picture of the original Star interurban depot. If you're new to star you may not know that there was once the trolley that ran from Boise through Eagle, Star, Middleton, Caldwell, Nampa, and back to Boise. The interurban depot here in Star has been moved and converted into a coffee shop. It is now the site of Bobbie Jean’s on State Street. The Christmas bulbs are a limited edition of 500. They are hand numbered and considered to be very collectible. As they are a limited edition, once they're gone they're gone. You can expect them to be available at all chamber events between now and Christmas. They will also be available to purchase at Bobbie Jean’s and Star City Hall.
